Once again you need to get through the pirates that are around. Leave the Canyon Deserter's Camp and turn to the Northwestern portion of the Oasis area. He was the old cook and tried at least 7 times to poison Captain Scarlett. Head into the heights of the camp and you will find your target standing amongst the numerous pirates. Head on over to the left, going up the stairs and following the walkway over to the South. Get through the initial area with the Cursed Pirates, Swabbies and Pirates coming after you. Head over to the West and you will find the entrance to the Deserter's Camp.
